You can also use humor to build team spirit. Before a match, the environment is pretty tense and everybody is stressed. In this time if we use humor that can elevate the team spirit then it is pretty much appreciated. Joking about winning this match and then celebrating or how you will do a different dance on the field will bring a fun environment and everyone will be a bit less tense and they will know that we are together as a team.
Make Light of Common Struggles:
You can joke about how the coach used to make us run 5-6 laps per day and still, he would say for more. You can joke about the challenges and tasks you had to do to enter the team.
